Influenced by the Japanese art form of Kintsugi, where broken ceramics are repaired with lacquer and gold to celebrate their history and imperfections, our first designs apply a similar philosophy to our design process. Each stick we craft carries a subtle touch of gold painting in its design, a nod to Kintsugi’s ethos of finding beauty in flaws and resilience. Just as each repaired piece in Kintsugi tells a unique story of overcoming adversity, our sticks embody the journey of a martial artist—resilient, beautiful, and eternally evolving. This unique design element reinforces our commitment to quality, imbuing each product with a sense of soulfulness and timeless elegance.
When it comes to the composition of our Kali sticks, we’ve opted for the finest birch and rattan—two materials renowned for their unique balance of strength and flexibility. Birch offers a solid, dense core that can withstand the rigors of intense training, while its fine grain adds a level of sophistication to the aesthetic. Rattan, on the other hand, is celebrated for its lightweight yet durable characteristics, making it perfect for swift and fluid movements. The resulting sticks are not just tools for combat; they are an extension of the artist—durable, stylish, and perfectly balanced for optimal performance.
Currently, we offer two different colors (red and gold and black and gold) and two size options to choose from: 26 inch length and 1 inch width and 27 inch length and 7/8 inch width.
